Introduction

Happiness and fulfillment are personal feelings. For some people, having a pleasant work atmosphere is a must in order to enjoy themselves. Whatever the criteria, being satisfied with our jobs is essential for maintaining a healthy "work-life" balance (Edwin, 2005).

Happiness multiplies success

Workplace joy may spread like wildfire. Employees who enjoy what they do set a terrific example for others who are less motivated. When a team leader, for example, is satisfied with his job and work, he can have a greater positive influence on his team and ensure that the group functions well.

Happiness builds positivity

A troubled mind can be a repository for bad thoughts. Our minds start to wear out when we work out of compulsion and don't feel passionate about the contribution we make to the organization's success.

Happiness reduces stress

In one of her Harvard Business Review articles, Annie Mckee, an international leadership coach, and writer, stated that when people are sad, their brains begin to disengage from positive emotions, reducing their ability to think creatively and rationally (Buchan, 2004). It can dramatically enhance our responses to stress and refocus our emphasis on the positive aspects of work-life if we feel joyful for the 8 hours we spend at work and if we can somehow hit the strings of optimism that will keep us elevated.

Happiness at a work means a healthy life

Hypertension, cardiac arrests, substance addiction, and other stress-related diseases are less prevalent among successful professionals who can optimize their work (Harrison & Kessels, 2004). When we are content on the inside, we have the strength to combat disease and the determination to recover and get back on track. Staying unwell, whether physically or emotionally, might put you at a disadvantage at work.

 Happiness at work increases likeability

Finding happiness at work aids in the development of healthy interpersonal relationships at work and encourages employees to collaborate for the common good of the company they work for. It is the foundation for creativity, loyalty, accountability, and success. Happy employees may foster a nice work environment that is easier for others to adapt to, and the more individuals that participate, the stronger the team becomes.

Conclusion:

To summarize, workplace happiness provides an excellent chance for managers and leaders to empower their staff to do a better job. While work happiness is made up of various elements such as compassion, communication, friendship, and others, it is unique to each employee.

  1. There are numerous approaches to creating a healthy work environment. Many leaders are unaware that the atmosphere, the boss, communication, and other aspects are the primary determinants that determine whether or not a person performs well at work. Great managers know how to bring out the best in their people by figuring out what they excel at and where they fall short.

  2. Working has become an inextricable part of our lives in recent years. It is understandable and natural for you to become frustrated and annoyed after a long day at work and a hectic schedule, but this may not occur if you find your work sufficiently enjoyable. Developing your involvement in your work will result in increased productivity, and interest will be generated only if you are happy at work.

  5. In common we will spend at least 12 hours dedicated to the job, which includes the time we spend getting to the office and back home, plus managing and answering telephone calls or emails for another two to three hours per day and the same routine for 06 days out of 07 for a single week. So most of the employees are happy at work, simply which means happy till sleep. So it is so much important to create quite nice working atmosphere by the management to work their employees to be happy. Thank you for discussing about us, who are on the same boat.
